Climbing the Folding@Home leaderboard has become a pet hobby of mine since a pal turned me back on to distributed science projects in the Spring of 2025. Right about that time, and unrelated, my father passed away and left me a small amount of money. I thought to myself, what would Dad totally not understand? Why building a multi-GPU rig to climb the F@H leaderboard, of course! And so I got right to it.
This site gives some details of my folders, their roadmaps if there is one, and how they are performing. There's also some info about the "AI"-rolled set of python scripts that have been "developed" to collect these stats and automate some aspects of the folding operations. Feel free to drop me a line with any questions.
itztli: v1.5. Flagship Node. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D + 1x NVIDIA RTX 4090. Folder, primary telemetry aggregator and my CachyOS desktop.origami: v1.5. High-Density Node. Intel Core i9-7940X feeding a RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell + 2x RTX 5070. Folder and local LLM. About to be upgraded to an EPYC-based build 💪🧠.smallpieces: v2. Multi-GPU Octominer Node. CPU upgraded to Intel Core i7-7700, system RAM expanded to 32G, local storage increased. Currrent GPUs: 1x RTX 4070 + 4x RTX 5060 Ti. Just doing folding since PCIe gen3 x1 is just not good enough for local LLM. And also the CPU isn't up to it.Comprehensive fleet hardware timeline (Feb 2026 – Present), EOC monthly/daily production stats, cross-referenced average PPD speeds per hardware era, and detailed node specifications.
